Lee – Director
Lee has lived and worked in the UK and Germany for engineering companies such as Compair Reavell (in the good old days when Ipswich hosted many engineering companies), General Motors in Germany designing car interiors, and Suffolk County Council as a Highway Engineer. Lee is a self-taught builder, plumber and farmer. He is usually in charge of our infrastructure projects – building steps, paths, fencing, animal shelters, you name it!
Liz – Director
Liz has lived and worked in the UK and Australia mainly as a lawyer and still works in this capacity part-time. She is also a self-taught farmer and usually leads on gardening projects and anything food-related!
Flowers – Director of Market Gardening
Flowers is a qualified gardener and a self-taught builder and woodworker.
She currently works with us on Wednesdays and Fridays, keeping the Market Garden on track and leading horticulture and woodworking projects.
Anne – Volunteer
Anne is really a co-opted member of the team, being Liz’s mum! She works with the team on an ad hoc basis, having worked at The Bridge (Belstead School) before retiring and being a self-taught gardener, producing beautiful blooms and a lovely cottage garden at the farm. Her passion on the farm is for the goats – she dreamed of having goats as a child but never thought it would come true!
Maz – Volunteer
Maz helps us on Tuesdays. She has a wealth of gardening knowledge and has worked at Jimmy’s Farm and the Maidenhall Community Garden in the past.
